Aquila strings for the ukulele
Aquila strings belong to the highest quality ukulele string. We have
strings for soprano, concert, tenor and bass ukulele. As well as low G
strings that allow guitar tuning of the ukulel.

As with any other musical instrument, the strings on the ukulele
significantly affect the sound and playability of the musical
instrument. A quality string enhances the acoustic properties of the
instrument. The tuning is more accurate and stable. When you notice that
the sound of your musical instrument has changed, it is difficult to
tune the ukulele or the string has become rough and no longer smooth,
then it is time to replace the strings.

SuperNylgut®
Supernylgut ukulele strings have a charming
natural color and a very smooth and polished surface that gives it a
waxy feel. So pleasing to the eyes and toes! They are also less flexible
than all previous versions of Nylgut®, so that the tuning of the
instrument itself is faster.
Genuine gut
Before the
Ukulele appeared (circa 1874), the only choice of strings were made of
gut. For the most part, these strings were used for violin, and then a
special set of ukulele strings appeared in the 1930s. By producing
synthetic materials, and in particular nylon (1938), the strings finally
provided a long life span, high resistance to climate change and low
cost. The handmade strings of this set allow you to enjoy the authentic
"Roaring Twenties" sound.
Red series®
Unique
appearance and strong even sound. They sound brighter, stronger and more
responsive throughout the pickup area. So far, this result has only
been achieved with a harp, where the size of the string has constantly
varied. RED SERIES® suites deliver superior quality for musicians who
love clear, crisp sounds and powerful voicing. Have you never heard a
sound like this? Simply because it wasn't there before!
Who has never dreamed of tuning ukuleles on a LOW G without using a wrapped fourth string?
The
only alternative solution today is to use fluorcarbon strings. From now
on, you will finally be able to tune your ukulele into the LOW G by
providing powerful, high quality sound.
